NEW MEXICO SENIOR OLYMPICS, INC.
New Mexico Senior Olympics Inc., is a 501c 3 organization that is dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles for all seniors age 50 years and older through education, fitness and sporting events.
NMSO was first incorporated in April 1979. The vision to provide Senior citizen volunteers and opportunity to be involved in sport competition was first derived from Volunteer Program Directors and staff. The NMSO Headquarters is located in Roswell, New Mexico with three staff members.
A statewide Organization that supports and sanctions 31 local organizations that are committed to Senior Olympics, adult health, fitness and wellness. Seeking ways to maintain and improve adult health are common goals of NMSO and it’s partners.
A not for profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities for motivating senior adults to lead a healthy lifestyle through Senior Olympics.
The organization governs the Senior Olympic Annual Summer State Games, Senior TREKS to Healthy Fitness events in 8 communities; All Indian Game Day; VISTA health Promotion Projects and Team Tournaments.
